Google announced this week that uploads to YouTube now total one hour of video every one second! That means that in the two minutes that it takes you to read this blog post, 120 hours (two days) worth of videos have been uploaded. Wow! Let's take a closer look at the stats and try to wrap our minds around this mind boggling news.
Stats
• More than four billion videos viewed daily around the world.
• An hour of video is uploaded every second.
• 24 hours of video is uploaded every 24 seconds.
• Nine months of video is uploaded every two hours.
• A decade of video is uploaded in a day.
• A century of video is uploaded every ten days.
Google stated that the upload rate is up 30%, while the daily views stat is a 25% increase (both measurements are based on an eight month timeframe).
YouTube has launched a new website at onehourpersecond.com covering the latest stats. It's worth a look if you are into that kind of thing.
This news comes one week after comScore's latest report based on December 2011 data that revealed that 182 million U.S. Internet users watched online video content in December for an average of 23.2 hours per viewer. The total U.S. Internet audience viewed 43.5 billion videos.
What does this mean to you and your online business? Video is not to be overlooked. Video is a part of every good search engine optimization strategy. Increase your market reach with video.

You should give a iaimlsr list of other posts for others and myself. I discovered your site two days ago when I was surfing the internet, however I'm not really into the blog scene. It's not because I do not fancy blogs, but more than likely because I'm a bit behind to them.
